JANUARY 2012

Milestone was released by Boa last month reaching Number 4 in the DVD charts. And in the UK, a new song has just been recorded by a boyband. More to follow . . .

Meanwhile, Greig has been preparing for endless rounds of meetings under the palm trees at midem later in the month. NOVEMBER 2011

Lots has happened since our last bulletin . . .

The big news from Asia is that BOA has confirmed that the DWB song Milestone will be her new single – to be released along with the video in December 2011

Meanwhile 5 DWB tracks are cut on Born Crain's album, ANATOMY, now released in GERMANY and being performed at PAUL YOUNG concerts, including the first single Tell The World.

A further 5 DWB tracks have been released on West One's Pop/rock Library album and 3 DWB tracks are to be released on Chocolat's debut mini album

The instrumental KICK has been used for the third time in a TV show in The States and last but not least, BABY BE MINE is confirmed as a release for KAT-TUN and will feature on their single to be release shortly.

AUGUST 2011

Since our last bulletin, La La has proved to be a big hit for Debi reaching Number 1 for six weeks in the Czech Republic.

Meanwhile, Handbags and Razorblades has been released on I.D.A's album Pink Explosion in Sweden, Syndrome has been released by Chocolat in Korea, Shake It Out is featured on two Belle Perez compilations and
Lovelife (Kate Ryan) is featured on two Number 1 compilations in Germany

JULY 2011

Written by DWB and Rike Boomgaarden, La La - Debi - is now Number 1 in the Czech Radio play charts!

JUNE 2011

Kate Ryan - Lovelife continues to be promoted around Europe, with Kate performing at big venues in Spain, Holland, Germany, Poland etc There is now a combined total of over 750,000 views on Youtube! It's also now featured on the new compilation, Maximum Hit Music 2011

La La - Debbi Kuhl is now out as the new single, and is at number 2 in the Czech republic Radio charts!

Dirty Love - Written in 2007 - is featured on the Clubland Smashed album reaching Number 4 in the UK Compilation charts

MAY 2011

New releases this month include two DWB tunes cut for IDA, La La and Igloo which feature on Debi's Number 1 album in Czech Republic (La La is the next single) and Let's not cry (written in 2008 for Westlife) and released by Liang Wen Yin as her latest single. Meanwhile, Shake It Out has now been released by Belle Perez in Belgium. It’s Top 30 in the Tip charts, and will be performed in front of 50,000 at a Beach Concert in Spain!

APRIL 2011

Kate Ryan's latest single - LOVELIFE - written by DWB has been released on Itunes – and will be released worldwide in April 2011. We hear it is A listed on major stations in Benelux and Sweden so far. See the video on our home page.

MARCH 2011

Lots of action this month, with Kate Ryan confirming that her next single will be "LOVE LIFE", written by DWB and Georgie Dennis, as well confirming 3 more DWB songs for her album.. More details soon, Video is shot and now in editing. The track will be released in Belgium on April 11th, and the rest of Europe will follow in May!

Also, our hearts go out to all our friends in Japan, we are praying for you as a Nation to get through this time. Almost trivial but two more releases confirmed in Japan shortly, one with RESPECT and the other with HIROSHI TAMAKI.

FEBRUARY 2011

DWB co-written track with Roasting House, Runaway is being released by Wrethov in Poland.

State Of Urgency has also just been featured in a Independant Film in The States.

DWB co-wrote with Marit from Norway this month after a great meeting with her manager at Midem!

JANUARY 2011
MIDEM - Greig and Ian had many meetings with labels, artists, management and publisher's about builiding past and future relationships. Watch this space for the results over the coming months.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

NOVEMBER 2010

DWB track, HOUVAST - first written and released in 2006/7 - is
included on Clouseau's album of ballads on EMI, currently riding high
in the Belgian charts - and the long awaited release of Australian Pop Idol, Kim Cooper's first single has been released, produced by DWB and written by DWB/Chicks With Hits. The track is available on itunes.

Greig and DWB writer, Ian Curnow travelled to Tokyo this month for many meetings with Avex, Sony, EMI etc plus co-writng with top japanese writers,
Heroism, Taka and Daichi for all the big japanese acts.

Lots of production work this month:- We are currently producing Belle Perez's (Universal) next single for release shortly, producing GAME OVER for 3D in Russia, producing 4 tracks for Belgian artist Jaela Jess - as well an album for a new english artist.

SEP 2010

The DWB - Rike Boomgaarden co-write, BELIEVE IN LOVE, has just been released in Japan as ANNA TSUCHIYA'S new single and will soon be released on her new album RULE.

Meanwhile, DIRTY LOVE is now also on the new All AROUND THE WORLD comilation release, HARDCORE TILL I DIE 3.

JULY 2010

The club mix of DIRTY LOVE was released this month on the CLUBLAND 17 album where it reached Number 1 in the dance charts and Number 1 in the complation charts.

DWB are working with Ian Curnow on the production for tracks on Kumi Koda's next album

Meanwhile, DWB are working on a new package (artist+songs) with a planned launch in Russia and Japan. Fantastic songs, snake dancing and fire eating! Watch this space.

JUNE 2010

ALL AROUND THE WORLD have just released the video for DWB's new act's first single, DIRTY LOVE. The song will be released in the UK later in the year.

In mid June, DWB organised a major Songwriting event with ten
professional songwriters writing twelve songs in four days! It
was an intensively creative time with new combinations of
writers driving exciting new approaches.

MAY 2010

Born Crain's New single, CALLING ALL CARS was co-written by DWB and Ian Curnow, and is receiving heavy airplay on Belgium's major radios stations.

Korean Boyband ss501, are just about to release their new mini album, DESTINATION, including DWB/Freakchild/Boomin System track, Forever (young won to rok). The track is also produced by DWB

DWB track , Love Stunned has been featured on New Lifetimes Series, "Seven Deadly Sins" featuring Kirsten Prout.

MARCH 2010
DWB have signed a deal with All Around The World for their new project put together with Dougal and Gammer and Maria Willson. Watch this space for news of its Uk release soon!

DWB's co-written track with Douglas Shawe, "LEARNING HOW TO BREATHE" has just been released by Korean Boyband, SHINWHA on their Japanese album, "FIND VOICE IN SONG". Let's hope its as successful as the last DWB Japanese hit, DEAD END for Tohonshinki!

Greig is now back from a successfull trip to midem with many new leads and business opportunities to work on!

Songwriting Camp:- DWB are in the middle of an intensive songwriting week, working with regular co-writer Ian Curnow and with Zebra 1 (Obi Mhondera Tim Hawes) to create new songs for target artists.

OCTOBER 2009

DWB are currently in the studio working on tracks for a new project with Maria Willson, watch this space for news of the first release, coming soon........

LOVESTONED, signed to Universal Germany/Scandinavia have released 'LOVE WON'T WAIT' on their first album, RISING LOVE.

DWB also attended the Universal Party in Belgium, and met with A & R's for Kate Ryan.....

SEPTEMBER 2009

DWB are now back after the summer, and two more releases have taken place.

Firstly , Joey Yung has released a Mandarin version of Expose (co-written with Kate Bradshaw) in China, Hong Kong.

Secondly, Sandi has released SUMMER in Switzerland on her album DIVA, in Switzerland, which enters the charts at Number 5 on its first week of release.

DWB have also just completed a track, SO FABULICOUS, with DJ Frank and NBG for the Fabulicious party and tv show in Belgium. Watch this space for more news on that soon.

DWB have been busy writing the last few months, with Paul Drew and Ian Curnow making a trip to Sweden to write some great hits with the ROASTING HOUSE team.

MAY 2009

The last few months have been really busy for DWB, with finishing off Alexander Shulgin's Harp album and a trip to LA to co-write with Gary Miller, Sean Alexander, Fran Balke, Drew Lane amongst others.

In March, Julian Lloyd Webber joined DWB in the studio, to record 2 tracks for Alexander Shulgin's album. This album should be released in the Summer.

"Dead End' was once again featured on the latest Tohoshinki Remix album, which makes it the fifth album the song feature's on. Once again the tohoshinki Album, Secret Code reaches Number 1 in japan.

"Half Of Me', co-written by DWB's Paul Drew, was also featured in the recent movie, 'FIRE" released to a movie theatre near you.

January 2009
Firstly we wish you all a happy, prosperous and peaceful 2009!
It's been a great start to the year with DWB getting a hold on one of their songs for Westlife (watch this space for more news).

Also the album produced by DWB last year, "Triptych" for Russian composer, ALEXANDER SHULGIN has been voted Russia's 3rd best album of 2008 which is not bad considering it was released in November.

Currently the boys are producing a second album for Alexander, which has the harp as lead instrument, and this should be finished in the next couple of months.

Also DWB/Chicks with Hits track, Horsin Around, has got a release in China. A mandarin version of the song (roughly translated as DREAM FANTASY), has been recorded by China's equivalent of Beauty and the Geek.
October 2008

Also "The QUIET SHUTDOWN" which was co-written by DWB and Nailpin in the summer of 2007, has just been released as the final single of their current album. Watch this space for more results.

DWB's co-written track, A KIND OF LOVE, is included in the re-issued version of Natalia's, Everything and More album, which has now charted for over a year!

The long awaited Born Crain album has also been released in Belgium this month, featuring DWB's, Money In My Pocket. A further release in Japan is scheduled for the end of the year.

June 2008

This month the boys made a documentary video for the Making of "Alexander Shulgin's Melody Book" which will be included in the album release later this year in Russia.

DWB/Nailpin track, "The Quiet Shutdown" was also heard by 34000 people at a Bon Jovi concert as Nailpin played the support for them!

Lots happening in DWB land, with DWB track "Dead End" reaching Number 2 in the Korean Charts for Tohoshinki, as well being featured on a couple of different Live Dvd's of the band.

"And The Winner Is" is currently being featured in the Tv show "Chante" in France with the artist Priscilla playing the lead role.

"Better With You" was also featured in a recent episode of Germans Top Next Top Model

"Leaf Upon The Wind" has also been released on D-Side's Greatest Hits in Japan.

Today sees the release of the new Danzel album, "UNCOVERED", in Poland, Ukraine and Russia (other territories will follow).

Congratulations to DWB/Chicks with Hits and Fransisca London, as their

track, GUILTY BY DESIGN, is currently at Number 1 (and has been for 3 weeks) in The US Airplay charts.

Well its been a good start to 2008 as:

DWB HIT NUMBER 1 in Japan, with their song Dead End, being featured, on Tohoshinki's new single. Close to 50000 copies have been sold in the first week

Reborn (Born Crain), will collect his Border Breaker's award at Midem, after his first album (including three Dwb tracks) became the most succesful

album by a Belgian artist outside of Europe (50000 copies sold). Born's new album is on its way.

Well its christmas time and time to stop work and be with our families for a week or two, so DWB wish all of you a happy christmas and merry new year!.

Next week sees the release of the new Priscilla (SONY/BMG -FRANCE) album, "CASSE COMME DU VERRE" featurning 1 DWB written track (with the Chicks WIth Hits), as well as 2 DWB published tracks.

The songs will also be featured in a tv series based around Priscilla and her exploits in February 2008.

Belgian Artist, Alex has also been back in the studio this week, as the boys have been producing the track, UNBREAKABLE, for her.

DWB have just arrived home from a writing trip in switzerland with the STRONG REACTION writing team, so watch this space for some new hits!

Two video's are just about two go into production for DWB tracks.

SECRET WISH are making a video for FLICK OF A SWITCH, which has already recieved some great airplay in Belgium, Germany, Poland and more.

Also a video is being made for Fransisca London's GUILTY BY DESIGN.

This week sees the release of "YOUR EYES" by SIMON, co-written by DWB and Alex Geringas. The track is launched on saturday at the TMF awards and is next weeks Superclip on TMF. SO watch this space for further updates and for news on the album!

DWB have returned from the summer break and have been straight back in the studio, producing two belgian artists, JAELA JESS and ALEX. Watch this space for how the projects develop over the next few months!!

"DEAD END" will be featured on TOHOSHINKI's new Live DVD, which is released on the 26/09/2007.

This week saw the arrival of Belgian Band, NAILPIN in the DWB studio.

The guys wrote two songs for the new album to be released in 2008, in Belgium and Japan, and then maybe the rest of the world.

It's all hotting up in Belgium for the release of the new Katerine single, LIVEWIRE. The single cover has now been released to the media, whilst there will be an exclusive clip of the video over the weekend, at www.universal.be. The official release of the single is May 5th, but already Radio polls are predicting a success!
